Caitlin was born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota and attended her first year of university at Richmond, The American International University in London, England. She then transferred to the University of Toronto, where she graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in a History specialization and Books & Media Studies major. In her studies, Caitlin became focused on World War Two, specifically the experience of Berlin women at the end of the war. Now Caitlin is back in Minnesota for a bit before volunteering in a museum in North Carolina, applying to graduate school and wwoofing in Chile and New Zealand
