YOUR NEWSLETTER

Your news team will be creating a newsletter with the photographs, art works and poems that you have found in your research.  You can create a newsletter by either printing out photos, poems, and art works and then pasting them onto a sheet of paper or you can create a newsletter with Powerpoint, or other software.

Here are some questions that your newsletter should address:

1)        What was everyday life like for a POW?

2)        What type of activities did they enjoy doing in their free time?

3)        What does the poetry of POWs tell you about what they were thinking about while in prison?

4)        What do the drawings and artwork tell you about what the POWs were thinking while in prison?

5)        What were the biggest challenges for POWs?

6)        Was the life of a POW difficult?

7)        Can you relate a POW camp to something that you have experienced?
